Hello minihawk, I use cura exclusively. To print a figure like "Jody", the following settings should be adjusted. First you have to put cura into the expert mode. Under "Expert" activate the function "switch to full settings". Now you can make different settings under "Basics". Layer hight: 0.1mm Shell thickness: 0.8mm Bottom / top thickness: 0.8mm Fill density: 20% (the hollow parts of the figure are filled with a grid) Print speed: 50 mm / s Support type: everywhere Platform adhesion type: none or brim Nozzle size: here you give the nozzle size of your printer, probably 0.4mm. Now you go to Expert / open expert settings. Under support you have to make the following settings: Structure type: lines Fill amount: 30% Under "fix horrible" the function "combine everything (type A) has to be activated. Now a successful print of the figure should be possible. The printer will take about 17 hours to complete the figure. I hope this description helps you!

I am relatively new to 3d-printing, done nice things with it... But i am very n ew to printing with support. I have a printer with one nozzle, so the support is to be printed with the same material and color. I have some slicers in my suitcase, cura, slic3r and kisslicer (perhaps some more) and its hard to define the support to get such a model printed with a support that can be removed easily. Do you have a recommendation for a slicer and its support settings using one extruder? Thanks a lot, Minihawk
