Hi Blecheimer,
I have found elevations for both long and short tracks and have added them with a CSV file.

Please let me know how you go.
Thank you so so much again.

WG Short course? Like the one that NASCAR uses?
No problem - done!

This is awesome ! Thank you so much.
Ok, I'll go to work and find the profile.
In the meantime could I ask another favour, could you please possibly do
the same for the Watkins Glen Short course? attached.
PS... I bought a small CR-10 3D printer and am starting to use tinkercad,
yes, yes I know very basic, but hey it's a start :) at some ppoint though
would love to learn Fusion 360, but it;s super expensive at this point.

Watkins Glen added!
For a non CAD guy the design of an elevation profile is quite a challenge . I can do it, but I need the elevation profile. That means I need to know what the height of the track is e.g. every 100m.
This is an example of a usefull profile:

If you can give me such a profile, I will see, what I can do.

Hello Blecheimer.
That would be awesome regarding Watkins Glen. Thank you so much.
Regarding three dimenson profile for say Bathurst and Watkins Glen :), I
don't understand... is this something you can do, or can you show me how?
Thank you

1) Watkins Glen? No problem - just give me some time. Maybe I can do it at the weekend.
2) Do you have an elevation profile of Bathurst? Then you can create a threedimensional spline. This will be the spine curve for a loft with a simple line as profile curve.

Great work :)
two questions
1. can you possibly include Watkins Glen race track, please...
2. I'd like to tinker around and see if I can add some elevations to Bathurst. Would you have any thoughts on how best to do this?
Cheers

I love your idea, and I think that adding the 3rd dimension makes a lot of sense and bring perfection to any racing enthusiast ! Indeed the beauty of the Raidillon at Francorchamps is the steep uphill (I had the opportunity to drive it and it's incredible). Same for Kyalamy, I use to cycle there and it's a hell of a climb !

You mean like slotcars? This can be possible, I think - but it will take some effords. ;)
The possibilities are endless: Use the tracks as a background for a clock. Or illuminate them. Or split a track in smaller pieces and print them really big to cover a whole wall.
So many ideas, so little time...

Cool! Thanks for sharing these! And you even included the dutch track "Zandvoort" :)
I just had a (crazy) idea: it would be a fun project to extrude them as a 'gutter' and then have miniature race cars go through them.
