It might be possible to use PLA or TPU and fuse cotton onto this frame with by ironing it on the side of the fabric. It wouldn't work with a cloth iron, but putting it in between ceramic tiles from the oven or metal plates (aluminium is great) should work to fuse the two. Then you can thermoform the mask as well.
