Description

Worth noting, this is not for Prusa-style printers. Those have 50mm distance between rods. If there is any interest in that, I will put out a 50mm version. Let me know in the comments.2013-12-03 Added Wire Plug, Thickened fan mounting plate, added ribs in bearing channels, widened the belt hole, added trap for M3 nut. This is a light-weight nozzle shuttle for use in in Bowden-Cable extruder systems. LM6UU bearings are spaced @28mm. The wire plug adds vias, made from 2mm and 3mm copper tubes to provide crimp/solder connection for the hot end and thermistor. The wire plug is itself a work in progress, as it needs to be expanded to also accomodate a pair of connectors for the fan, and possibly an LED. The plug is also being eveolved into a clamp for the Bowden cable. Holding that up is the fact that I have no information immediately on hand to determine what this clip needs to look like. Once that is figured out, the plug will have screws on both sides of the J-Head.
