Today I'm bringing you a 3D Printable Bob-omb from Mario. I designed this to be as easy to print as possible. So it prints in one piece with no supports needed. It is completely scalable so you can go as big or as small as your printer will allow.
I printed this on my Robo 3D R1 printer using Hatchbox White PLA at 50mm/sec. It took about 9 hours to print at 0.3mm layer height and it used up approximately 220g of filament at the size I printed it.
Post Processing-
Step 1: Sand any rough spots to your liking
Step 2: Prime it with plastic primer, letting it dry completely between coats
Step 3: Paint everything but the body (my wife used a airbrush)
Step 4: Mask off the painted areas, leaving only the main body unpainted
Step 5: Paint the main body (my wife used black spray paint)
Step 6: Once dry, spray with a glossy finish to get the nice shiny look
