When I first replaced my J-Head (without a fan) with an E3D hotend I had alot of issues with ABS warping. I could notice alot more airflow over the printbed than before so made this small scoop to fit on the front of the fan which seems to have fixed the issue. Just loosen the two lower screws on the fan, slide it over and tighten them.
