I got the parts pre-cut yesterday and started today.smoothing all the joints and grinding the glue areas with a 240 sandpaper to make the glue better stick.the door which is simply hooked onto the front is mounted already, needs some improvement to avoid ratting, but is so far OK. The upper 'hooks are made of M3 countersunk screws with a machined spacer to accommodate the thickness of the cover. needs some improvement..... on the lower part I only machined half way thru the material to allow some space for the screw heads. The space a little smaller diameter as the screw head so the front cover does not fall off.Had to give it a try and it fits perfect. The lower part can be removed, I think I will do that during printing, so the spool remains in the 'cold'. let's see. finishing is for tomorrow.some early morning finishing, without polishing the scratched areas of the acrylic glass (will do that later, most probably never). now only missing the corners and bars to hold it in place. Now all finished, the blue as a contribution to UM, the first roll of filament delivered with the printer
