I created this as a stand-in or alternative to a arcade spinner. It has the same knob dimensions as the GRS USB Button Hole Spinner so all my steering wheels, handlebars and Paperboy 3D prints will fit and work.
To be clear, its not a spinner in the proper sense, you can't spin it freely and it isn't weighted.
What I wanted to make had two goals, take the digital on-off nature of micro switches but allow you to keep turning with resistance, so it doesn't feel like just pressing a switch and also to make part versions that had cable pass-through, so that I can make gear paddles for my steering wheels or put paper throwing push buttons on my Paperboy handlebars. As an arcade parts builder that kind of thing gets me excited. :)
As I have changed to a less common 3D printer, I wil no longer be releasing a free Gcode version.
