I make messy OpenSCAD code too. But editing STLs is always more messy than reading (even) my SCAD code.
Actually, I was really impressed by the elegance of the those SCAD renderings... using color, transparency and a build plate orientation + an assembly view. It's really good stuff, so don't hesitate to share it :)

The reason I didn't upload the scad files is that they are quite messy :). I promise I will upload them eventually.

One good reason for uploading the files are to get constructive feedback from other users, learning better ways of doing things.

Wow, I admire your OpenSCAD skills! That is one pretty sophisticated design! Thanks for sharing it!

And I've played with it OpenSCAD quite a bit! For this one or the inspection camera, I can't find the SCAD. You may have missed it. One of the ideas I'd love to see YouMagine have as its strength is promoting open collaboration. Sharing native source formats in addition to just STLs are a practical way to empower people to study, improve and collaborate.

Also, we're improving YouMagine all the time based on community suggestions. Since you're a power users, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
