Description

I am trying to trouble shoot a z banding issue that looks very periodic and possibly related to print speed. Since min layer time setting in CURA will reduce the print speed as the layers get smaller this print was used to see how the printer behaved through a range of printing speeds.my slicer settings where:layer_height = 0.2wall_thickness = 0.8retraction_enable = Truesolid_layer_thickness = .6fill_density = 0print_speed = 40print_temperature = 190

no solution yet, the guide does not cover this, and the UM forums have not been helpfull either, I think I'm in no man's land on this one. At the moment I suspect the extruder, but not sure how to fix it. I printed the same gcode file on a UMO+ at work and it printed fine so this is isolated to my home machine. more about this can be found here. https://ultimaker.com/en/community/view/17720-z-banding-when-ever-i-use-infill-whats-wrong

I have never seen anything like it. Have you managed to find a solution? There's a good troubleshooting guide here: http://support.3dverkstan.se/article/23-a-visual-ultimaker-troubleshooting-guide but this seems a bit more stranger than the usual stuff.
