That's right, my wife wasn't satisfied with just painting all the models. Now she's making the models too? She's not going to need me at all pretty soon...
So recently we got ZBrush Core, which if you haven't heard of it, it's definitely worth checking out. It's a fully fledged 3D sculpting program and people have created amazingly detail models in ZBrush. So she thought she'd just mess around with the program, and her first time opening up the program, she created this cute little penguin. I'm jealous and impressed by her skills.
So I printed it out for her (settings below) and she painted it up. She used some primer then used an airbrush to paint the whole thing black. After that she took a paintbrush to add in the white for the body and the rest of the facial details.
