Description

There is still some development to do but they are more than usable if you are in a hurry. The main change will be to mount the LED on the bottom of the shroud. This will allow me to incorporate a plenum under the fan, which will increase the performance, reduce the noise and load on the fan. There are left and right hand versions to choose from depending on your setup. They print well in ABS (recommended) @0.15mm layer heights with supports.I’ve also included the S3D factory file profiled for the CLONE R1 Beta.I look forward to seeing your awesome prints.Flow simulation - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKnAN3fqZfc

I expect it would be rotating but just used the simulation to check that I was on the right track. The final duct actually has a small part baffle on the exit ring edge to try and get the air to exit the duct equally. You could spend days on the simulation and still not get it right. Still it's better then my usual "best guess" approach ;-).

Cool animation with the airflow... Does the air exits the fan perpendicular as in you animation or doesn't it exit with an angle due the rotary motion of the axial fan. You my also have to consider this in your airflow animation.
