I was tired of seeing my expensive macBook charger on the floor. So I invented this neat holster that mounts to any surface and it is so handy!Prints in plastic with your 3d printer in 1-2 hours. Very sturdy and smart design is designed to be 3d printed with no support or overhangs.- Compatible with all laptop chargers.- Works in any direction so cord passes through and everything still works.- Route the cord through a groove on the back for anti theft.- 3 built-in recessed mounting holes for standard self tapping screwsDownload and start using it today. You will want one at the office and home and workshop. I can add custom logo and design for you.Note: The units are inches, so you may need to scale the part to 25.4 for metric.

Technical

- ABS or PLA material - Use 10-20% infill and brim - No need for supports or rafts - Cura UM2 fast quick print will cost you 3 hours using 3mm filament @ 4.56 meters/30 grams of material. - Cura UM2 normal quick print would cost you 7 hours using 3mm filament @ 4.75 meters/32 grams of material.

Wow, I'd appreciate that! I actually just last night made a simple version of this, and printed it this morning ( https://www.youmagine.com/designs/macbook-charger-holder, http://i.imgur.com/6kV7k1L.jpg). But your's is much more elegant. The bolt pattern is two 6mm holes at 43 mm spacing. :)

@jjmardlin I could remove the holes so you can drill your own. What is the hole pattern and maybe I can change it?

I love this, and I plan to print a few for my desk, but it has pre-drilled holes in it which I'd like to fit them to. Would it be possible to get the design files in order to change the hole pattern?

What size should this file be scaled to?

I am a complete novice to 3D Printingso apologies if I have missed something here! This is exactly what I have been looking for as I too hate to see the charger on the floor and constantly have to chase it when needing to take it somewhere! When I downloaded the file it was absolutely tiny!! the printer software said the finished print was only 3.5mm wide! Is this me or the file??
