This bookend was made using openSCAD. The component is made up of a triangle with a slightly smaller triangle subtracted from its center, then a thin plate was added to the bottom to give it a larger footprint. Lastly, a cylinder was extruded through the face of the component to allow for the Celtic knot accents to be placed. Once the shape was complete, I used a downloaded Celtic knot template (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2521582/files) and united them to the component in place so that they took up the cut out spaces. It was then processed using Cura and printed on an Athena II Delta bot
