These filler panels replace the bulky factory cargo cover mounts in the 3rd gen (1996 - 2002) Toyota 4Runner. If you no longer use or don't have a cargo cover anymore these are the perfect way to clean up the look of your cargo area. They can be left as is or used as a place to mount other accessories. (The opening where the original mount attached can vary slightly in size due to being manually cut out at the factory instead of molded directly into the plastic, These are designed to be a tight fit, so some slight widening of the opening may be necessary.) Panels are black and look great as is, but can also be spray painted to match if so desired. Just scuff them up a bit with 220 grit sandpaper, use a high build primer, then a top coat of your choice.
