<p>I don't use STL files normally, Cura does support DAE files.<br>In the top menu click: &gt; File &gt; Load model file... &gt; (select your file)<br><br>Let me know if this works.</p>

How to convert DAE file to STL? Slic3r or Cura doesn't support it.

The .SKP is the original Sketchup file, you can open it with Sketchup 8 or higher.

I usually design things in Sketchup to print stuff on my UM1 or UM2. The designs are always accompanied by their source files for editing and a collada file for printing but if you want a particular format, just ask.
