This adapter allows mounting the Bondtech QR feeder on any Ultimaker 2-series, while offsetting the feeder to the left of the printer. This allows feeding from a spool-holder on the left side of the machine, as well as the standard spool-holder. Feeding from the left makes it easier to insert filament, and allows easy visual monitoring of feeding during a print. The natural curl of the filament runs in the about same direction as the Bowden tube, reducing friction.
