This design needs a hex 1/4 inch to 1/4 inch square socket adapter which Anders did not need. but this puts out more torque and would break if it used Ander's design of having the 1/4 inch square portion made from pla.
Also this design is flatter so I can mail out free ones with all orders of block v3 from my store (gr5store.com).
Olsson block only needs 0.8nM but Block V3 needs > 1nM to prevent leaks sometimes. So I aim for 1.5nM. Around 4nM the nozzles will sheer and self destruct. 2nM is safe.
Read instructions (materials and methods section) before printing!

I included gcode files so you can get my settings exactly. I level the nozzle the "normal" way where I don't squish the first layer too much (to avoid getting a micro brim). These gcode files are for 0.8mm nozzle. I put the parts in the left front corner so they can be printed on um2go if desired. These gcode files print on any um2 series printer.
do not print stl file of the center piece by itself. Even with 100% fan it will print too small (because it doesn't have time to cool between layers) and the hex part will not slide in and other issues. So print 2 side by side like I did or print a box shaped tower at least one layer taller than this part next to it.
If printed with .8 nozzle in pla it will be around 1.9nM. I prefer 1.5nM so I use a file and file the tips of the arms 2 seconds each (total of about 18 seconds to do the 9 arms).
George, that would be lovely! I'm sure I have something that would work hanging around somewhere but haven't the time atm to go digging in my tools :)

Very nice! Been having issues with Anders' design breaking on me (the internal portion always) and thinking a metal adapter would be nice. Will try it once I get ahold of an adapter!
