Sorry, I forgot to say that I really like this design! xD It's one of the most sophisticated ones in my eyes, even better than the original solution using closed belts and a spring - I mean, at first I thought that's a good idea but a spring will always lead to some backlash at least at higher speeds. Anyhow - open belts and your design, I think that's the way I will go with my oldy goldy UMO. Thanks for that.

Not really :D I use now Gudoxycore system. All rails, no wooble, less than half the ringing and really sweeeet quality :D Check #gudoxycore tag on twitter. I did post photos when modding the 3 machines I use

Indeed, true I made them for the default umo/um2/um3 bushings. Also I seen some china shops selling the the default size with selflubrication.

Thanks for sharing! b.t.w. - the blocks require sintered bushings 8x11x30.
