To help eliminate friction in the guiding of Filaments from the reel to the feeder. Allowing the filament to gently find its path off of the reel or holder and through to the feeder. The Long rollers enable the gentle guidance of filaments even off of large or wide reels and other filament holders. The Guide base attaches to the UM machine using the existing screw mounts in the back plate, although longer screws may be required (M3x20). the off centre mounting attachment allows the adjustment of the roller position for best fit to the filament spool mounting arrangement.
