Introducing our RedCat Ascent Fusion - Explorer Edition Bed - after the success of our original bed, it is time for a new version. The bed includes 6 additional holes along the front and outer edges to accommodate our new Explorer line of accessories. This makes customizing your bed really easy and allows for a very unique look. The Explorer bed continues to provide interchangeable inserts allowing for customizability. Our bed sits close enough to the cab that you don't need to run the rear pins, though there is room to insert them from the bottom if needed.

Material: PLA Plus has held up really well in field testing. You could go PETG, but it doesn't seem to be needed at this point.

Bed Dimensions: 162mm x 140mm x 30mm (48mm along the front for 40mm)

Hardware: You’ll need four M3 x 8mm countersunk screws to secure the insert onto the bed.

Installation - Full Height Bed:
Begin by securing your chosen insert into the bed and secure it with the supplied hardware.

Next remove the 5 rear cross braces holding the rear of your Ascent Fusion together; note that the ones supporting the suspension are longer. With the cross braces removed slide the three small cross braces into their corresponding holes along the bottom side of the bed. Take one of the longer ones and place that in the circular cut-out (you won’t be able to get to this later).

Finally, place the bed on your truck and reinstall the hardware for the cross braces. Use two 2mm drivers to tighten both ends down equality and if needed reapply thread-lock.
