The guide is in the documents - second file down, it is a pdf.

For the LEDs, I went online and found a string of 10 blue LEDs that were battery powered (using 2 x AA batteries). There isn't anything special about them. The first photo in the assembly instructions pretty much tells you all you need to know. I removed the switch and battery connectors from the battery casing for them and installed them into the Matrix, there are photos showing where they go in the assembly instructions.

Hmmm... not seeing the guide. Do you have any info on the LEDs package used too?

Thanks, I'm printing the back ball and clips today. Do you have any assembly pics of the LEDs?

The fittings are all tight (for the red "nubbin" we had to use a hammer to get it in), this is so no glue is required. For the crystal, it has flat edges that can just slide past the flat edges of the frontball, it needs a bit of a twist to get it in. The partition clips also go into the front ball (these are tight and there is a knack to getting them in without breaking them), the clip part of them needs to be sticking out to clip into the battery pack part but before putting them in, put the LEDs in and feed excess wire into the cavity of the battery pack part. We have made a few of these and they fit together well - the arms can be clipped over the body and should hold in place reasonably well without glue - in our shop we have one to show customers and usually pick it up by one of the arms and rotate it freely. We haven't seen anyone else's make of one yet so please upload a pic when you have it together and don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions.

Love the design! Finding the fits quite tight. Is the crystal supposed to fit inside the frontball, or sit flush with the bottom of it?
