Description

If I switch on my printer, it's very likely that I want to print something. This is a simple and adjustable gcode script that will automatically start when the machine is switched on with the SD card in it. It will play a sound and move the printhead to the right and the front as a indication that you are using the pre-heat script. Then it will heat up you nozzle and your printbed. In the meanwhile you can start a print. If you don't start a print within 10 minutes the machine will play a sound, cooldown and reset the printhead position. Tested on the UM2

I've often thought about this as a feature and I am really impressed you came up with it. Genius, I cannot wait to try it. Thank you.

Yes, you put the file with the same name on a card, put it in the machine, and it is executed when the printer boots (on power on). You put it on the SD card and it will be executed instead of it's normal startup ritual. (You can check in advanced settings to see temperatures change). AFAIK the script runs 'in the background' and is aborted if you select and other print from the SD card. Simpe but effective.

Is it sufficient to put that file (with the exact name) on the SD card or is there some other step needed?
