My DM was looking for an aggressive-looking wolf model. The wolf model in Harrison Baere's collection seemed too calm, so we opted to try to shrink down Harrison Baere's winter wolf model instead.
I thickened the wolf model using Meshmixer, with the help of this guy's tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sge8029CucM
I fixed some mesh problems with Netfabb (https://service.netfabb.com/service.php). This is a fantastic help for fixing mesh problems, it seems.
I added a base from "beard_second"s thingiverse collection: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2577122
This process allowed the model to be reduced to 28mm scale and still be strong enough to print and clean. The results were everything I hoped they would be.
Technical
I printed with AMZ3D 1.75mm gray PLA using 0.06mm layer height. Print with supports (I doubled the gap between the top of the supports and the model, to make them easier to remove). Brim is optional (I didn't need it, some might).
