Description

This is a realistic animatronic RC driver 1/10 scale. It turns the head using a micro servo that is inside the body. The arms move too when using a servo with the steering wheel.

There are 3 heads included:
  • Head with beard and nice hair.
  • Bald head with beard.
  • Head with a mohawk hairstyle.

The cockpit is also included. That way you can try the driver and see how it behaves.

Here is a video of how it works:

To build this you will need:
Screws
  • 1 x 4mm M1.4 screw to attach the servo to the body.
  • 2 x 3mm M1 screws to attach the servo to the head.
  • 2 x 4mm M2.5 screws to attach the servo to the cockpit.

Micro servo 2g
DSpower-Servo motor 2g. There are two different and valid options:

 Servo 9g
Any 9g servo should work. This is the one I used: Servo MG90s all metal gear

To connect it to your RC you may need:
- 1 x Servoinversor – It can be useful to make the head turn the opposite direction (it
will depend on your main steering servo position)
I bought mine here: https://aliexpress.com/item/32728471122.html
- 1x Servo cable splitter – If you want to use the same channel of your main steering
servo, you will need it.
You can find it here: https://aliexpress.com/item/1005002233232226.html

I have included a brief manual with instructions to build the driver. It is available in both English and Spanish.

IMPORTANT: To join the arms you will need to print "zip ties" using TPU filament. I used TPU-95A from eSun but you could use the brand you prefer. In case you can't print using TPU you can use a cord.

I hope you like it!
