A Guiro is a popular Latin-American percussion instrument. It is used by scraping a stick along the Guiro's ridges in order to create a ratcheting-like sound. Typically they are made of wood or from a gourd, but since I am a percussionist I figured I would attempt to 3D print one. The outcome of this was great! The 3D printed Guiro sounds just as good as many normal ones. Both the body and the stick can be printed on .3-.2mm layer height with 10% infill. Thanks to Barry Pirro for teaching me to play the Guiro and inspiring this project.YouTube Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHz4ZRhExGI
