The base and the lid can be made in a variety of materials, in the photographs Diamond Black nGen_LUX by colorFabb was used. For the lid there are a number of thin sections between the grip features and the roots of the thread, and for that reason a 0.4mm nozzle is the maximum size that can be used to successfully make that part. The lid is modelled as a complete part including the 3D Connexion logo and, in the example shown, the print was paused at the layer where the logo starts printing in order to change the material to produce the contrast colour for the branding.
