Description

Migrated to: https://www.printables.com/model/544153-25in-to-35in-zero-offset-drive-converter Designed this after finding many of the cheapest "bent-metal" type adapters offset the SATA pins by 1mm or more, meaning the drive couldn't plug into a backplane-style SATA arrangement, as used in my QNAP TS-119 NAS box. The installation pictured has a slender (~7mm) Crucial 120GB SSD, and is secured to the 3.5in mount with 3 (not 4) standard drive screws. The design has no threads in the holes, so you're cutting the threads the first time you place the screws into the plastic. Fit is snug, but that's fine to hold the drive in place. This drive is skinny. I've added (UNTESTED) STL files for 9.5mm and 12.5mm drives as well.
