3d printed model of Military Chevrolet K5 Blazer (m1009)!

A special feature of the model is that it uses metal gears and drive shafts inside the transmission and axles! You will no longer have problems with the breakage of 3D printed components. And you will not need to look for a way to make a conversion to install metal components! Everything is already included in the basic version!

You need 2.5 - 2.7 kg filament to print all the details for this model. Printing time 340-360 hours. The archive contains a folder with individual parts, and also a folder with parts combined into small groups, which can simplify the preparation of parts for printing for you. It usually takes 8 to 12 hours to print one group. All groups are numbered in the order recommended for printing. You can start assembling the model while printing the parts! The minimum required print area is 200x200x200mm.

Assembly instructions are similar to those for the civilian version you can be found here link

Differences from the civilian version

  • Military style front bumper
  • Military style rear bumper
  • Protective grille
  • Military style front grille
  • Antenna mounting bracket
  • Military style wheels
It is highly recommended to read the instructions before starting the project !!!

Model characteristics:
- Scale 1 / 8.5
- Length ~546mm
- Width ~ 240/278mm(without/with mirrors)
- Height ~ 240mm
- Wheelbase ~ 318mm
- Track ~ 198mm

Pay attention! If you are printing parts from a folder with individual parts, then it does not contain some parts for the right side. Therefore, if you cannot find some part for the right side, then just make a mirror copy, the part for the left side, in your slicer!
