Hi Ruggb, I did't try the model to slice with Slic3r. And I have actually no experience with that slicer. IAt Layer 73 there are 6 smal connections with the center stem. Just enough to carry the weight of the moving part. Once printed, and opening, these 6 small bridges will break so the movement fits in place. It probably think its not manyfold caus the slicer doesn't see the bridges as a true connection. I know its a hard print, but in my oppinion that what it also make it special. Hope you still want to try to print this and keep us updated on the result. Best Yves

Look great - neat technology. I have a home built coreXY printer using Repetier and Slic3r. Slic3r thinks the model isn't manifold, but will slice it. Viewing the model, layer 75 shows a circle around the center stem hanging in mid air. It looks like it eventually connects to the center stem, but it sure won't print that way. Why does Slic3r think it is not manifold? Did Slic3r break this? How will I get it to print?
